  • Welcome to the BCU Rick! Can’t wait to visit you in Mazatlán

    • Rick was my second favorite on Bon, he is fricking awesome. Such a great add for this channel! I had stopped watching your videos Babish and Rick brought me back.

    • babish cinematic universe

    • Love this!

    • This video isn't doing so gooy because the thumbnail don't looks like how it "should". It took me 4 times looking through my subscription page to realize this was made by you.

    • You should totally make these snacks from an episode of ‘Craig of the Creek’: Afterschool Snackdown. The homemade kid snacks in that episode look so delicious.

  • Those might be Langostas but those aren’t Lobsters. Let that man get some Lobsters from Maine and watch the culinary magic he makes

  • Rick is living the lifeeeeee he gets to travel to all of these beautiful places and eat amazing food I wish I were him

  • This is so cool.

  • I can’t believe I didn’t know lobster tacos were a thing in my hometown

  • I kinda believe that Juanito just was overacting everything 😬

  • Where's rick? We need more episodes

  • I know it's more work but it would mean so much if you'd translate the conversations in spanish. It's very common for shows and stuff to just take spanish for granted and it would make a huge difference if people could see it's just as important.

  • So rad

  • Rick's instagram is my favorite, I'm glad to see that he has his own show now!

  • ❤️

  • Babby, we want Brad at BCU!!!

  • I really want to visit Mexico one day. Gotta work on my basically non existent Spanish skills first tho lol

  • Around 6:20 I swear I started to smell it

  • Can’t wait for more Pruebalo 🤩🤩

  • It's funny how most Mexican themed shows intro with Caribbean Latino style music

  • not sure why this didn't come up on my home screen like every other bcu vid :/

  • This is already an amazing show!

  • So I’m confused, is this gonna be a show on this channel or does it have its own channel? I’m 100% in for it either way, just wanna know how to keep up with it

  • I just found this Pruebalo series, watched both eps immediately multiple times. please please make many more

  • Hey dude, I'm from Maza and I really appreciate the portrayal of my town in this video, thank you for this. Idk if you live here or something, but if I can do anything to help you with this project, or if we as a community can help you, let us know, this is important for us

  • I don’t understand how this literal tv show episode doesn’t have more views. This could be on Netflix and somehow it’s just here on yt?? This is beautiful

  • this makes me so happy...

  • I love this💕💕💕😍

  • 3:23 Cumbia lon la luna!!!! Cumbia con el sol!!!......

  • I love Rick!!!

  • I'm super jazzed about this series in general and both episodes are amazing, for all the reasons listed in the comments and more - however I just want to point out that Rick's apron has a mf-ing harness on it and I'm absolutely living for the low-key daddy vibes

  • Absolutely love this Andrew!!

  • Holy high quality shots, Batman!

  • Props to Sebastian Ortega, Director, Cinematographer, and Editor!

  • Love Rick so much

  • Lobster tacos with Ricky Martin

  • this comment is very specific to me but I really love the fact that this show is centered around Mexico, so as a mexican these ingredients aren't that hard to find. Whenever I watched other mainstream cooking channels it'd be impossible to find some ingredients here. We don't have molasses (maybe piloncillo, which is similar), nor malt syrup and stuff like that.

  • Rick introduced me to Chili Colorado through his BA video. It's become one of my go to comfort foods and I will watch anything that man films/cooks now.

  • Wait what?!! He was in my city? I live in Mazatlán!! You can come to visit!! After the pandemic ends of course! And try many of the dishes we have here!!

  • Even using cheap small lobster tails, this worked great. Only problem is you need like 4 of these tacos for a full meal.

  • It's not a complex recipe but I still want it written down...

  • Mazatlan is a special place for seafood for sure.

  • Awesome series! Soy un estudiante de español. ¡Esta serie de videos es fantástica!

  • How does this not have more views????

  • Absolutely beautiful episode, Rick and crew. I love what you all are doing and I can't wait to see more!

  • Love this series you guys have going. Can’t wait for more

  • This looks amazing !!!😍

  • Dude, just watched both of these back to back, TY for SMOKING Food Network on quality of content with this.

  • Ten more seasons of Pruebalo please. I hope Rick goes to Monterrey too!!

  • "Im not a morning person" Hehehe, and yet both his vids so far have started very much in the mornin (this one at 6am; and the other one at 7am xD)

  • This vid has the perf amount of dislikes (666)

  • I love this content, but I wish for more food-talk. Tell me what it tastes like, the history of it, the people behind it. People saying its tasty and amazing, is great but not enough. You have a lot of people watching that never been to this place or even heard of it, so tell us a bit about it. I'd love to watch the next episode - thanks for the variety of shows and content I really adores it!

  • I need to eat that

  • I thought it was gonna be in Puerto Nuevo from the trailer

  • Tercermundo 😎👌

  • Got here late but I'm so here for this. Such an amazing episode. Like Sohla, the BCU introduced me to these amazing chefs doing amazing things and I'm so grateful. Can't wait to see how this goes.

  • I really like his new channel! I would prefer more cooking tho!

  • Obsessed with Babbish taking in all our favorite BA artists

  • another reminder that i need to learn spanish, haha.

  • What were the types of peppers that were used? Any one know, would be much appreciated

  • So excited for more!

  • Can you collaborate with Dr. Mike?!?! Pretty pretty please????

  • Rick!!!❤❤❤😊

  • This was really exiting, cant wait for the next epi. Just wondering, is Sohla’s serie continuing? Does anybody knows something about that?

  • Anxiously awaiting the next episode! 💕

  • I loved this episode, so peaceful

  • I hope Rick takes us to Merida for the Cochinita Pibil, best I've ever had there.

  • When is the next episode?

  • Epic content!

  • This is world peace.

  • RICK!!! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

  • Lobster for breakfast. Jesus.. I'm already 27y.o and I've never tasted lobster

  • Great to see Rick here hope to see more of him love his cooking

  • Loved Sohlas show and loving Rick!

  • I'm already in love with the first episode! Can't wait for more

  • RICK MY BAE HELLO IVE MISSED YOU :(((((

  • Cant wait for more!! I could listen to Rick for hours

  • Just wanna say that I would totally appreciate longer episodes where we learn more about the lives of the locals and community like the fisherman or the stories behind recipes (also just more details in general)! Making it more short documentary style if that makes any sense

  • Wow the production quality and cinematography is truly wonderful!! So beautiful by the ocean

  • Beautiful first episode, can't wait for more. Loved the stillness of everything, it felt authentic

  • This series is beautiful. Rick was always my favorite at BA and I love to see him thriving.

  • The cinematography of this show is scrumptious!!!!

  • love you rick!

  • love you babish!

  • this collab>>

  • Yawn...that's boring

  • This was beautifully shot. I'm hooked.

  • That lobster looks fire! I want some now! And a couple bags of those marshmallows.

  • Fun fact: this is the 420th video on this channel.

  • This definitely has the Mexican seal of approval :D

  • The cam quality and cinematography were amazing! We love Rick!!

  • I absolutely love this

  • *Cries in Eastern European lack of seafood*

  • i love the vibe

  • I love the vibe of this series and how passionate Rick is about food! Great production quality, too

  • I LOVE RICK AND I LOVE HOW COLOURFUL THIS EPISODE WAS. I'M SO EXCITED.

  • 😎

  • I'm mexican and the video really gave me vibes from where I'm from, the friendly markets and the streets of the pueblo, even the seas and the beach from the begining. Can't wait to see what the next episodes have, I am very excited about them.

  • This is really amazing! As a half Mexican who speaks terrible Spanish, being able to see this beautiful portrayal of my culture really connects me in the best way possible. Thanks BCU and Rick!!!

  • every time i go to Maza I get like 15 of those coconut marshmallow bags

  • As someone with an ultrawide monitor, it hurt to see that this video was uploaded in 16:9!! Otherwise, absolutely loved it

  • Music, cinematography and the cooking segment all spectacular!!!!! Can't wait to see more!!!!

  • This already feels like a made for TV documentary, but something about it feels less invasive, like they're not invading or visiting the space but are truly apart of it. I love the choice of sound design, where background noises are not dulled out or hidden by music while they are exploring. It truly makes you feel like you are there and when the music comes on when you are cooking it is as though your radio is on in your kitchen. Excellent job overall. Never been a fan of seafood but I want to devour this.

  • Rick needs to make an hour long video of him travelling, cooking and eating. I need it to be in the background of my life
